I got a cute English name recently, ‘Renee’, to avoid of confusion with another ‘Xiao’ –a cool guy in my group. ‘Renee’ comes from the word ‘reborn’. I like this name well, since my background was biology, I hope I would have a brand new life in the statistical world.
I am in a biostatistics research group, in which my advantage is biological knowledge. My advisor is Professor Wei Zhu. Currently, I am collaborating with and learning from another Xiao (he also got a cool English name, Max) in the project of Microarray data analysis.
